A team of Japanese immunologists of Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, Kamigyo found that Green and Black Tea has got three powerful compounds – 1, Theasinensin A (TSA) 2. Theaflavin 3, 3’-Di-Gallate (TFDG) and 3. Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG) which all effectively decrease viral titers to less than 1/100 times within 10 seconds in saliva and therefore, presumably can potentially prevent Covid-19 virus in your mouth cavity in the early mild stage of infection before propagating down to lungs.

Green tea is a polyphenol which contains many more health boosting compounds reducing inflammation, reducing aging process, preventing cell damages and subsequent deaths, neurodegenerative diseases  and also in your fight with malignant cancer.

Controlling Growth Of Virus In Body

Two international teams of researchers one led by Prakash Radhakrishnan of University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), USA and the other led by Prof Dr David Morris St George & Sutherland Clinical School, Sydney, Australia have found that Bromelain, a stem enzyme of Pineapple significantly reduces viral infection. Prof Prakash Radhakrishnan and team found in their experiments that Bromelain may cleave SARS-CoV-2 S-Ectodomain and eventually may destroy it.

Moreover, in other researches its found that Pineapple may also help in thrombosis of heart patients, it can be taken as an antiviral against SARS-CoV-2 and future outbreaks of other coronaviruses.

COCONUT OIL

Coconut Oil may disintegrate virus SARS-Cov-2 in nostrils whereas the meal cooked with It, reduces C-reactive protein (CRP) level in COVID-19 patients and thereby leading to early recovery.

Its found in a randomized double-blind controlled intervention trial conducted (Prof Imelda Angeles-Agdeppa et al) on a total of 63 people for 28 days, in Santa Rosa Community Hospital, Philippines.

Its known through other researches that CRP levels are positively correlated with lung lesions and reflects disease severity in COVID-19 patients. In several previous researches VCO compounds were found to disintegrate the envelope of many viruses and thereby preventing the binding of viral proteins to the host cell membrane. It is suggested to apply coconut oil in the nostril as a nasal guard.

Generally, two types of Coconut Oil are available :–

a) Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) produced directly from the fresh endosperms of the coconut

b) Refined Copra Oil (RCO) obtained from copra and requires further processing using chemical treatment and heat.

VCO has been studied to have both antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties, its a antiviral activity is attributed to acids – Lauric, Capric  and Monolaurin which interferes with virus assemble and maturation process, increases macrophage activity and eventually heals up the lung injury.
